ADVERTISMENT

On the heels of a recent study showing gay men may be more likely to become infected with drug-resistant staph infections, the Stop AIDS Project announced that it will convene a community forum Wednesday, January 30 from 7 to 9 p.m. A location will be posted on the agency's Web site (http://www.stopaids.org) as soon as it is confirmed.

Panelists include Dr. Erica Pan from the communicable disease control and prevention section of the health department; a representative from the sexually transmitted disease control branch of the department; and other health experts and community health advocates. Presentations will be followed by a question and answer session.

For more information, call (415) 575-0160, ext. 232 or visit the Web site.
