Trick or treat!

The sixth annual Stop AIDS Project's "Queens Are Wild" benefit October 22 included celebrity dealers Turk Mason and Michael Brandon wearing little in the way of clothing. The evening raised nearly $20,000 for the agency's programs in HIV prevention and health education. Other celebrity dealers included Board of Supervisor candidates from Districts 6 and 8, local community notables, and of course drag queens, most prominently the hostess for the evening, Juanita More. Add in a raffle, DJ dancing, and clever Halloween costumes and it was a fun, worthwhile evening.
