Decked out in his Halloween costume, Toby Benjamin, 4, joined several hundred other people at the grand re-opening of the Eureka Valley/Harvey Milk Memorial Branch Library on Saturday, October 24. The library in the heart of the Castro, which had been closed for 19 months, features a quiet reading area for adults, an expanded children's area, and added capacity for laptop computers. The $5.5 million project was completed under a bond approved by voters in 2000.
